This fact sheet describes many of the uses of Utah forest trees by Native Americans of the western United States and Canada. It was meant for a general interest audience and those interested in traditional uses of trees. Through it we try to increase cultural awareness and educate about history and Native American traditions tied to forests and woodlands. Such awareness can increase appreciation of forests and the people who depend on them. Distribution is entirely digital via the internet. Three of us worked on this project, with Laurel Anderton taking the lead. It took about 80 total hours to complete. Though it was peer reviewed it has only been out a short time and no evaluation has been performed.
